Abstract
A new MAC protocol for a CDMA integrated voice/data wireless system is prop osed. It provides common resources dynamically shared between the voice and data traffic. Compared with the existing scheme, the proposed algorithm im proves the voice performance without significantly degrading the data delay except at high voice loading conditions.
