Abstract
The design and experimental characterisation of a wireless infrared fast fr
equency-hopping spread-spectrum (WIR-FFHSS) system is presented. The bit ra
te of this prototype is 512kbit/s, but it can be easily increased to 1 Mbit
/s. It is suitable for different applications at low and medium rates.
