Abstract
Properties of continuous functions from the set of fuzzy numbers, with supp ort in a closed interval, to the set of all fuzzy numbers are investigated. Associated to the metrics on the set of all fuzzy numbers, we give two met rics on the set of all continuous functions and prove that the algebraic op erations are continuous.
