Criteria and formation and localization conditions of giant rare element deposits

The evaluation criteria of giant endogenic rare elements deposits were cons idered. The primary role of mantle processes and crust-mantle interaction i n the formation of the giant Tomtor- and Noril'sk-type rare metal deposits were demonstrated. These deposits and mantle plumes are confined to tripple junctions of upper and lower mantle convection chambers, respectively.
