Abstract
This article reviews the therapeutic benefits of allergen immunotherapy rel ated to cost. A cost-analysis comparison between allergen immunotherapy and pharmacotherapy is included. With proper patient selection, allergen immun otherapy is a very cost-effective, long-term treatment of allergic rhinitis and mild allergic asthma.
