Abstract
The sampling frequency f(s) selected for a digital filter should not be eit her too low or too high, and the region between these extremes, within whic h f(s) could be expected to lie, is termed 'the sampling window'. This pape r demonstrates how to identify the sampling window for filters designed dir ectly in the discrete domain.
