Abstract
A novel stilbene with dimethylchromene ring, 3,2',4'-trihydroxy-6 '',6 ''-dimethyl-pyrano(3 '',2 '':4,5)-trans-stilbene, named artocarbene, has been isolated from the heartwood of Artocarpus incisus. (C) 1997 E lsevier Science Ltd.
