Abstract
Different types of inorganic complex fluorides having the band at 700-750 c m(-1) in their IR spectra are considered. This band seems to be characteris tic for the simultaneous presence of both fluorine and oxygen atoms in the crystal lattice of compounds. Its appearance in this range can serve as an indicator of the presence of oxygen. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rig hts reserved.
