Abstract
This paper demonstrates that Chlorophyll fluorescence in vivo is not always a true indicator of plant cold hardiness. In this experiment, frost resist ance and chlorophyll fluorescence of needles of Scots pine seedlings were f ollowed under natural and controlled phytotron conditions during the most a ctive cold hardening period.
