Abstract
The new (tert-butylimido)eta-cyclopentadienylniobium compounds [Nb(eta-C5H5 )(2)((NBu)-Bu-t)(O3SCF3)] 1*, [Nb(eta-C5H5)(2)((NBu)-Bu-t)(PMe3)][O3SCF3] 2 *, [Nb(eta-C5H5)(2)((NBu)-Bu-t)][MeB(C6F5)(3)] 3, [Nb(eta-C5H5)(2)((NBu)-Bu -t)][B(C6F5)(4)] 4, [Nb(eta-C5H5)(2)((NBu)-Bu-t)(eta-C2H4)][B(C6F5)(4)] 5, [Nb{(eta-C5H4)(2)CMe2}((NBu)-Bu-t)(O3SCF3)] 6, [Nb{(eta-C5H4)(2)CMe2}((NBu) -Bu-t)][B(C6F5)(4)] 7, [Nb{(eta-C5H4)(2)CMe2}((NBu)-Bu-t)(eta-C2H4)][B(C6F5 )(4)] 8 and [Nb{(eta-C5H4)(2)CMe2}((NBu)-Bu-t)(eta-C3H6)][B(C6F5)(4)] 9 hav e been prepared and characterised; * indicates the crystal structure has be en determined.
