Abstract
The possibilities of using laser radiation to control the photoluminescence spectrum and luminescence properties of porous silicon are studied. Porous silicon samples prepared by different methods are investigated. The main a ttention is focused on short-wavelength (400-600-nm) luminescence. We exper imentally demonstrate the possibility Of a considerable (up to 80-100 nm) s hift of the photoluminescence spectrum toward the short-wavelength range wi th the increase in the power density of pumping laser radiation. We will al so show that the action of high-power laser radiation may change the lumine scence properties of porous silicon.
