Abstract
An active Fabry-Perot interferometer with a cavity filled with a saturable absorber is employed to observe narrow optical resonances in laser radiatio n power. Our estimates and experimental results show that such an active in terferometer may ensure an enhancement in the amplitude of nonlinear resona nces in the regime of differential amplification by one to two orders of ma gnitude as compared with a similar passive system.
