Abstract
By analyzing the example of a model two-particle system, we inspect the acc uracy of determination of the energy spectrum and wave functions correspond ing to stationary states within the framework of the approximation of self- consistent field. The possibility of applying this approximation for descri bing interparticle correlations and the dynamics of a system in a strong el ectromagnetic field is discussed.
