Abstract
The title reaction affords slightly air- and light-sensitive [(PPh3)(2)ClRu (mu-Cl)(3)Ru(PPh3)(2)(eta(1)-P-4)], which belongs to a very rare family of soluble tetrahedro-tetraphosphorus complexes and represents the first ruthe nium species of this type.
