Abstract
A new species of Ramichloridium de Hoog, R. bacillisporum Baker & Partridge , is described from a collection made on leaf glands of Crataegus flava Ait ., in Alabama. It is readily distinguishable from previously described spec ies by its bacilliform conidial shape. Some commentary is made on the simil arity between Ramichloridium and species of Veronaea Ciferri & Montemartini .
