Abstract
A new genus name, Rhizomarasmius, is proposed to accommodate Marasmius pyrr hocephalus and M. undatus. Taxonomic circumscription of the family Xerulace ae is discussed, and taxonomy and nomenclature of the included species epit hets are related.
