Abstract
Absolute values of the cross section for two-photon one-electron excitation and ionization of the 1s shell of the Ne atom are calculated taking into a ccount the relaxation effect of the atomic core in the 1s-vacancy field. Th e results of calculation can be used for predictions. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/ Interperiodica".
