Abstract
A method for calculating the spectral moments of dipole absorption and Rama n scattering by asymmetric top molecules is proposed. The method is based o n the calculation of coefficients of expansion of the corresponding orienta tion correlation functions in a Taylor series using the formalism of the an gular momentum theory.
