Abstract
We demonstrate efficient degenerate four-wave mixing in a laser injection-s eeded solid dye laser. Phase-conjugate energy of as much as 140 times the t otal energy injected externally into the phase conjugator was extracted. Mo reover, efficient phase-conjugate energy was obtained in the broad waveleng th region from 558 to 567 nm. (C) 2000 Optical Society of America OCIS code s: 190.5040, 190.4380, 140.3280.
