Abstract
We report filamentation of subpicosecond UV laser pulses with only millijou le energy in atmosphere. The results are in good agreement with a numerical simulation using a quasi-three-dimensional propagation code. (C) 2000 Opti cal Society of America OCIS codes: 190,5530, 350.5400.
