Abstract
A comparative analysis was made of the chemical composition of produced and residual oil from the West Siberia Talinskoe oil field. The constitution a nd distribution of n-alkanes, isoprenanes, cyclanes, and arenes was studied by the technique of computer-aided gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. C hanges in petroleum composition occurred during development of the oil fiel d are shown.
