We have obtained the magnetoconductivity in quasi-one-dimensional electroni
c systems in tilted magnetic fields, based on a simple model of parabolic c
onfining potentials, and investigated the qualitative features of the magne
tophonon resonance (MPR) effects according to the strength of electrostatic
potentials and the tilt angle of the applied magnetic field in the quantum
limit condition, in which h omega(+/-)much greater than k(B)T are satisfie
d. Here omega(+) and omega(-) are the effective cyclotron frequencies. In p
articular, the behaviors of the MPR line shape, such as the appearance of s
ubsidiary MPR peaks, the shift of these MPR peaks, and a change in MPR ampl
itude and width are discussed in detail.
