Abstract
Polarized magnetophotoluminescence measurements performed on a wide parabol ic GaAs/Al0.2Ga0.8As quantum well reveal the presence of spectral redshifts in the energy at filling factors v = 1 and 2. The magnitude of these redsh ifts depends on the polarization and filling factor. While the values for t he case of the a polarization agree with existing theories, the results for the sigma(+) polarizations are less understood.
