Abstract
We report the branching ratios of the chi(c2)(1(3)P(2)) and chi(c0)(1(3)P(0 )) charmonium resonances to two photons using event samples collected by Fe rmilab experiment E835 in the reactions (p) over bar p --> chi(c2)(1(3)P(2) )[chi(c0)(1(3)P(0))] Our result for the chi(c2) is B(chi(c2) --> gamma gamm a) = (1.35 +/- 0.25 +/- 0.12) X 10(-4). We set a 95% upper limit for the ch i(c0) branching ratio B(chi(c0) --> gamma gamma) at 2.09 X 10(-4).
