S. Durr, Topologically unquenched QCD: Prospects from an explorative study in two-flavor two-dimensional QED - art. no. 054502, PHYS REV D, 6205(5), 2000, pp. 4502
The concept of simulating a variant of QCD with sea quarks which interact w
ith the gluon configuration only via global gluonic quantities such as inte
gral F (F) over tilde dx and integral FFdx is tested for the case of the ma
ssive 2-flavor Schwinger model. It is found to amount to an importance samp
ling method which generates-at essentially the costs of a quenched run-an e
nsemble in between a full and a quenched one, thus providing a competitive
alternative to the quenched approximation.
