We point out that the pure "tree" decays B-c(+/-) --> Ds+/-D are particular
ly well suited to extract the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle gamma through
amplitude relations. In contrast with conceptually similar strategics usin
g B+/- --> K+/-D or B-d --> K*D-0 decays, the advantage of the B-c approach
is that the corresponding triangles have three sides of comparable length
and do not involve small amplitudes. Decays of the type B-c(+/-) --> D+/-D,
the U-spin counterparts of B-c(+/-) --> Ds+/-D, can be added to the analys
is, as well as channels, where the D-s(+/-) and D+/- mesons are replaced by
higher resonances.
