Abstract
X-ray diffraction methods were used to study the effect of deformation on l ong-range order in a Cu3Pd alloy with a one-dimensional long-period superst ructure. It was established that plastic deformation causes an order-disord er phase transformation, which occurs heterogeneously and is accompanied by a refinement of antiphase domains and an increase in the lattice parameter . The nonuniformity of the order-disorder phase transformation is attribute d to a nonuniform development of deformation.
