Abstract
Calorimetry and measurements of the thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) wer e used to suggest the phase diagram of the ternary system PdMnxFe1-x. The s pecific features of the microheterogeneous state in the alloys of intermedi ate compositions are discussed. It is demonstrated that the effective TEC o f these structurally and magnetically multiphase alloys represent a value a veraged over the thermal expansion coefficients of the constituent phases.
