Abstract
Upon studying the processes of orientation of glassy polymers in air and in the presence of liquid media, a direct method for the estimation of a loca l current draw ratio was advanced. The validity of this approach was proven for the uniaxial tensile drawing of PET in air and modified PVC in ethanol .
