Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an extremely useful modality for e
valuation of the complex pathophysiology of the liver. The high degree
of soft tissue contrast afforded by MRI accurately defects and charac
terizes both focal and diffuse abnormalities of the liver. In this art
