Abstract
A dynamic simulator of the automatic gauge control system in continuous col d rolling was developed. The research was focused on the dynamic study of t he automatic gauge control system of the mill and in particular on the mast ery of the new automatic gauge control systems installed and the optimizati on of their parameters. Several strategies of control were simulated and co mpared to each other.
