Ra. Kreneva et al., Inactivation of the ypaA gene in Bacillus subtilis; Analysis of the resulting phenotypic expression, RUSS J GEN, 36(8), 2000, pp. 972-974
After inactivation of the ypaA gene in Bacillus subtilis, the phenotypic pa
ttern obtained showed that this gene controls a system for active flavin tr
ansport and, possibly, riboflavin excretion under the conditions of constit
utive synthesis.
