Abstract
Terbium hydroxophenylanthranilates Tb(PAA)(OH)(2) . D, where PAA is phenyla nthranilic acid, and D = H2O, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), piperidine (PP), o r N,N-diethylaniline (DEA), are synthesized. The individuality of the compo unds is evidenced by chemical analysis, IR and luminescence spectroscopy. T hermal stability of the compounds is studied. Phenylanthranilic acid is coo rdinated to Tb3+ through both COO and NH groups.
