The sublimation parameters of bis(acetylacetoneiminato)nickel(II) NiAim(2)
and bis(acetylacetonato)(2,2'-dipyridyl)cobalt(II) CoA(2)dipy in a dynamic
vacuum were determined using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). No ch
emical transformations or other physicochemical processes that would change
the structure and complicate sublimation of these compounds were observed
in the temperature range studied. The calculated enthalpies of sublimation
are 106.0 +/- 1.7 kJ/mol for the nickel complex and 244.3 +/- 7.5 kJ/mol fo
r the cobalt complex.
