Abstract
The possibility of occurring n(2) --> n(3) stage-to-stage transitions in th e C6F6, CCl4, and GeCl4 fluorinated graphite intercalation compounds (FGICs ) was studied. Stage III FGICs were proved to be individual compounds by X- ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy, F-19 NMR spectroscopy, and element al analyses.
