Abstract
The steps of phase formation in Na2CO3 + 6V(2)O(5) + yAl mixtures are studi ed by complex thermal and X-ray diffraction analyses, New sodium-aluminum v anadium oxide bronzes (VOBs) with the general formula NaxAlyV12O30, beta ty pe where 1.3 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 2 and 2 less tha n or equal to (x + y) less than or equal to 3.4 are prepared. The diagram o f the phase relations in the Na2V12O30-O-V2O5-Al system is plotted. The ele ctrical conductivity is measured for VOB Na2-yAlyV12O30, where 0 < y less t han or equal to 0.7.
