Abstract
The [CuL2Cl2] . 2C(3)H(6)O complex (I), where L is 3-o-tolyl-5,5-dimethyl-5 ,6-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-a]isoquinoline, was synthesized in the form o f the acetone solvate. The crystal structure of I was determined by X-ray d iffraction. The ligand (L) is coordinated to the copper atom through the ni trogen atom in the 2-position of the triazole fragment. Compound I was also studied by the IR and electronic absorption spectroscopy.
