Abstract
The intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction of N-acylvinyl imidates provides a rapid entry into,cis-fused hexahydroisoquinolones. This methodology has bee n used in a concise synthesis of the yohimbine alkaloid (+/-)-alloyohimbane . (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
