Abstract
Synechococcus sp. PCC 7942, a cyanobacterium, acted as a biocatalyst to red uce aryl methyl ketones into the corresponding (S)-alcohols with excellent enantioselectivities under illumination. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
