Abstract
The Li-Yau semiclassical lower bound for the sum of the first N eigenvalues of the Dirichlet-Laplacian is extended to Dirichlet-Laplacians with consta nt magnetic fields. Our method involves a new diamagnetic inequality for co nstant magnetic fields.
