Abstract
Some closed expressions for the flight ranges of the spherical particle eje cted from a laser-produced plasma target in buffer gas an given as a functi on of its initial velocity, diameter, and some parameters of the properties for gas and particle material, It is shown that when estimating the ranges of the particulates generated from the laser target, the decline of viscos ity with the decrease of the gas pressure has to be considered.
