We analyse here the spatial and kinematic evolution of the Pleiades moving
group substructures found in Asiain et al. (1999). This allows us to invest
igate both the birthplaces and kinematic ages of these substructures. We al
so study the possibility that stellar complexes are the progenitors of movi
ng groups. Our main tools are the epicycle theory and the integration of th
e equations of motion using a realistic gravitational potential of the Gala
xy. The disc heating effect is implemented in our algorithm to determine st
ellar trajectories in order to study the disruption of unbound stellar syst
ems.
