Abstract
The papers in this section of the workshop describe behavioral and performa nce changes in isolated and confined extreme (ICE) environments. These chan ges include increased disturbances of mood, rates of psychiatric disorder, and interpersonal tension, and a disruption of circadian rhythms. The works hop ended with four specific recommendations for future research.
