Abstract
Using the technique of [7], we prove an error estimate, of order 1/2 with r espect to the size of the meshes, for a finite volume time explicit approxi mation of symmetric linear hyperbolic systems. Our result apply to any unst ructured mesh. Special attention is paid to to the discretization of the bo undary condition necessary for the scheme to be stable.
