Abstract
We have designed and produced a special purpose computer for diffusion equa tions. The algorithm to solve diffusion equations is a symmetrical semi-imp licit scheme. This scheme is economical in computational time and in memory , and is easy to be coded. The special purpose computer is constructed usin g pipeline architecture. The developed computer has a speed equivalent to 4 30 MFLOPS. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
