Abstract
In this paper, we have reported on a near-infrared diamond anti-reflective filter window and its application in industry. Using the hot filament chemi cal vapor deposition (HFCVD) method, a near-infrared diamond anti-reflectiv e filter window was designed and fabricated. The detector with the diamond window was successfully used in the on-line position monitoring of seamless steel tubes at the Shanghai Baosteel Works. It was sensitive and reliable, and worked very well in the high temperature, corrosive environment. (C) 2 000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
