Abstract
Hordeum chilense exhibits resistance to Septoria tritici. Addition and subs titution lines of H. chilense in wheat were utilized in growth chamber and field experiments to determine which H. chilense chromosomes carry resistan ce genes. Resistance is conferred by gene(s) on chromosome 4 and, to a mino r extent, by genes on chromosomes 5, 6 and 7.
