Abstract
We report a case of angiomyolipoma of the ver with emphasis on the appearan ce at MRI after administration of ferumoxides. Post-contrast T1- and T2-wei ghted images showed a frank decrease of signal intensity in a rim on the ma rgin of the tumor. This unusual finding was related to the presence of an i ncreased number of CD68-positive histiocytic Ils in the periphery of the le sion and in the adjacent liver parenchyma.
