Abstract
A new sesquiterpenoid, eremophila-10,11-diene-7a,13-diol (1), and a ne w iridoid aglycone, dihydrocatalpolgenin (2), have been isolated and i dentified from Pedicularis striata Pall subsp. arachnoides (Franch) Ts oong in addition to the known iridoid glycosides, aucubin (3) and 8-O- acetylharpagide (4).
