Abstract
Droplets of polyethylene have been crystallized over a wide temperature ran ge from about 77 to 110 degrees C. The nucleation rates have been measured for a number of samples. It has been found that the nucleation rate remains constant with time for nucleation at temperatures between 80 and 105 degre es C; but that at lower temperatures nucleation accelerates and at higher t emperatures decelerates as time passes.
